    Product Description

Relive unforgettable moments from Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back or add your own fun twists to the story with this LEGO Star Wars 75222 Betrayal at Cloud City set. The amazingly detailed construction toy is divided into 4 sections, each depicting scenes from the classic movie. There’s a landing pad complete with Boba Fett’s Slave I Star Wars starship, a detailed promenade, a dining room with seating for 5 characters, a garbage processing room with incinerator, and a sensor balcony for epic Luke vs. Vader Lightsaber duels. There’s also a carbon freeze chamber with a function to ‘freeze’ Han in carbonite, an interrogation chamber and prison chamber, a secondary landing platform for the Twin-Pod Cloud Car, and so much more. Add an astonishing 18 LEGO Star Wars minifigures plus 2 LEGO droid figures to the mix, and you have a creative play set that Star Wars and LEGO fans of any age would be proud to add to their building toy collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible detail and depth
Reviewed in the United States on 26 February 2020
I cannot say enough good things about this set! I’m an experienced Lego Star Wars builder. I usually prefer the ships because I love the Technic frames, but I got this because it looks so expansive and detailed. It is!

The details are incredible and even include art on the walls as well as plants. If you look closely, there’s a pathway for a mini figure to be able to walk from one side of the city all the way to the other!

I love the large number of rooms, each complete with detailed doors. Three are sliding to be either open or closed, and the other three open vertically and can be held open with a small technic axle.

The mini figures are extraordinary and large in number.

You can freeze poor Han with the mere flick of a switch—it’s an incredibly cool mechanism.

Slave I is a great build in and of itself, and is seriously cool-looking. I’m not embarrassed to say that I couldn’t stop smiling and staring at it.

      Display value:
There is a lot of contrast with the colors: white for the dining room, gray for mechanical rooms, dark red and black for the dreaded torture room, dark yellow/tan landing pad with the amazing Slave I, and of course orange highlights on the carbon freezing chamber. The set has great display value, but has a very large footprint: 22 inches by 22 inches, so make sure you have ample room. In terms of horizontal shelf space, this takes up more room than the Death Star, but is considerably shorter.

The $350 price tag is quite daunting, but between the large mini figure count, display value, details, and unending play value, in my opinion it’s worth the cost.

—One word of caution when you move it: be aware of the landing pad and carbon freezing chamber—they are both not actually connected with bricks to the rest of the set, but have a little notch that slides under a ledge to hold it in place. This actually makes it easier to move because there are fewer sections to support at one time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great item, grossly inflated.

The betrayal at cloud city Lego set is perfect for collectors. The price however is grossly inflated. If you're a casual collector, don't pay 800 dollars for a set that originally retailed for 350. Great set, Terrible ridiculous price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really cool Lego Set!
Reviewed in the United States on 9 January 2019
Bought this for Christmas for my son and he loves it. Its very cool, it had 12-13 bags I believe. A few of the bags were challenging but we did it in a few days and it is very cool. Worth the money and its a good purchase. Comes with a lot and a lot of cool features for kids to enjoy!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for playing with but too unfinished looking to display
Reviewed in the United States on 4 January 2020
This is a great play set for re-enacting scenes from the Cloud City. There are some many separate rooms and mini figures that I believe that was the intent of the designer for this set.

For the price, I just wish they had designed a removable top from the set so that it would be displayed as well as played with.
